Even though we are often doing event and commercial photography across the country, we are proud to be based in the dynamic city of Liverpool. Our passion for local knowledge along with over 40 years of experience capturing weddings, events and commercial photography across Liverpool has made us appreciate this vibrant city.
We were recently contacted, again, by Stephen at Stephen Jones Jewellery because he had just finished making the ‘Vase’ diamond and platinum ring, priced at £15,000!
They were purchasing new display stand for the main window and initially wanted a photograph of the ‘Vase’ ring. Having worked on the image it was decided to produce a black and white gradient background with a reflective shadow. They were so pleased with our idea they asked for previously shot ring images to have the same treatment.
The results turned out fabulous and there were printed and mounted so they could be fitted into the purpose made window display frames.
Professional Photography is often overlooked when planning an special Event, but to use an old cliche……..
when all the food has been eaten, music has finished, band has left, tables cleared, presents put away …. the only thing left are the memories and images !
Our three grown up children had been telling us for some time to replace a family portrait, taken some years ago, so when I was given a ‘Photosforever’ gift voucher by my work colleagues for my 60th birthday it seemed a perfect opportunity to change the outdated portrait to an up to date version.
The biggest challenge was sorting out a date for the photo shoot when all the family and partners could get together. Before the aged date, Laurence called at our home to see where the photo’s would be taken, arrange lighting and talk about the list of photo’s which would be taken. I had an idea of having a montage with a large photo of all the family and smaller photo’s of each couple.
On the day, a glass of Prosecco each and the laid back manner of Laurence and his wife, as they organised the photo’s, helped even the camera-shy amongst the family, to enjoy the shoot.
Over Christmas all the family were able to look at the gallery of photos online and choose their favourite. Laurence then put the photos into a montage on a cream background and was very patient in resourcing a frame which I would like and which would blend with our decor.
The result: a montage with all the family, including our cat, and which we all like, is now gracing out lounge.
Thank you ‘Photosforever’ for an attractive family montage which is a wonderful moment of my 60th Birthday.
